It never hurts to just be nice to people.
At least that is what Mom always told us.

We don’t care who you vote for (well, really, we do, but we avoid political bickering around here). But we definitely think all Americans should vote! So, even though we politely decline political ads, we were excited at the opportunity to put together the 2010 “Vote! Kansas” spot for the Kansas Secretary of State’s Office (because good citizenship crosses party lines). Done on a limited budget in a very short amount of time, this spot is filmed in the Manhattan area and features people who volunteered their time to help us educate the public about advance voting. The spot is running through July 29th statewide, and a similar version will run again before the general election this fall.
A big thank you goes out to Cheryl Grice, Jamie Kaus, Mary Elizabeth Atwood, LaToya Davis, Duane Petty, Dave and Buck Gehrt, Mercy Regional Health Center, KDOT, USD 383 Manhattan-Ogden, and all the kids of our Facebook friends who turned out as extras on a hot day in July for a good cause!
