Dee Johnson, Business Manager
Business manager Dee Johnson entered New Boston’s orbit in October 2008. A seasoned numbers gal with 22 years of accounting experience, Ms. Johnson earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from K-State. In addition to her New Boston gig, she also owns and manages an environmental consulting firm she opened in 1992.
A disciple of the soft, sappy ballad, she always welcomes a hearty helping of Barbara Streisand, and delights in the careless whispers of über French Canadian Celine Dion. While colleagues think her mind for numbers and professional drive are the cat’s pajamas, they find her endless bounty of energy a smidge peculiar.
This graduate of Garden City High School is an accomplished sentence finisher who is averse to snakes, crowders in the grocery store checkout, and driving sans XM radio. A real travel hound, Ms. Johnson would consider selling her child for the right vacation package.
