Through a competitive process, our Manhattan 24/7 theme was selected for a multi-year retail campaign for the city of Manhattan, from 2005 to 2007. Our campaign illustrated that people are working ’round the clock to make Manhattan a vibrant, smart, sophisticated place to live, work and shop. Ending in 2008, our work included campaign branding, nine television commercials, 12 radio commercials, direct mail postcards, and newspaper ads.
Market research found that 20 percent of survey participants stated they were motivated to shop because of the Manhattan 24/7 campaign, and 21 percent said their perception of Manhattan as a shopping destination had improved because of the campaign. The research also found a direct correlation between those who had reported seeing 24/7 advertising and their motivation to shop in Manhattan. The campaign won five ADDY® awards from the American Advertising Federation of Topeka, including Best of Show for Broadcast Television in 2006. The same year, it also received an award of excellence from the American Chamber of Commerce Executives.
