Let’s talk dollars and cents, shall we, because we know what’s on your mind. You’re checking us out because you want some help presenting your business or organization in the best possible way, but you’re not made of money. You need the best deal possible. We get that…we worry about it too, when we’re buying professional services.

So here are our hourly rates:

• $80/hour for graphic design, writing, editing, and project management
• $95/hour for website design, coding, development, and content creation

We bid on a per-project basis, based on these rates, and would be happy to put together a proposal for you. Please give us a call to schedule a meeting and discuss your project.

Still Deciding?

You know you need to improve your company’s image, but you aren’t sure you’re ready to pull the trigger. Most likely, you are stuck on one of two decisions:

• Should I just save the money and do it myself?
• Is New Boston the right agency for me?

Here’s our two cents:

• If you do plunge ahead on your own, you should probably consider how much time it’s going to take you (we’re fast) and how much time you won’t be able to spend running your own business because you’re designing your own X.

  Then decide if what you create will truly achieve your goals. Do you have the skills and know-how to create materials that reflect the quality of your business or organization? In the long run, will you end up spending more time, money and hassle trying to do it yourself? (This often happens to us when we tackle DIY home improvement projects. It’s never as easy as it looks on HGTV.)

  Many agencies charge much more than we do. We stay affordable through expertise, efficiency and low overhead. We hire brilliant people who like living in Kansas. And we stay in business because our clients know we give great value and get great results, so they tell their friends and associates.

  On the other side of the coin are the one-person shops or mega-cube farms that promise a set rate for a website or a logo — the web is full of them. This might be exactly what you need. However, we say this with a couple of caveats: Ask a lot of questions about how unique the logo design will be, how much functionality your website will have, or how much real-person contact you’ll get. (Several clients who switched to us hated being held hostage to a web guy who works out of his basement nights and weekends. We’re in the office from 7:30 to 6:00, Monday through Friday.)
