With an undying enthusiasm for aliens, werewolves and robots, it shouldn’t be too surprising content marketer Ben Trickey loves to write and draw sci-fi and fantasy stories. When they're not reliving painful childhood flashbacks of their pet tortoise running away (“I’m sure Franklin is still out there somewhere”), Ben spends their time exploring Manhattan and beyond with their partner, Adri, their one-eyed dog, Rudy, and Rudy's new sister, Ivy.

A Kansas State University Marching Band alum and improviser at heart, they have been described by family and friends as “creative, kind, funny and tall.” Ben claims that if they could be any animal, they would be a bear (“But not a vicious one. One of those circus bears who can juggle!”).

While they have a strong distaste for licking envelopes (“Why would I lick them when I could use a fun sticker instead?”), Ben has a deep appreciation for the diligence required to write, edit, revise and repeat until they get a piece just right.
